Cowards and Heroes

I hate political labels. Aside from being the most misused words in the English language, they are pointless exercises in further dividing people.

However, since I'm more than a little sick of the (brain-dead) neo-con insistence that "Libs" are cowards:

Bush - too much of a pussy to play sports, became a CHEERLEADER... Watched from the sidelines, while others did the work...

Bush - too much of a pussy to FIGHT in NAM, became an AWOL Nat'l Guardsman (and couldn't even finish THAT!)... On the sidelines AGAIN, while others went and died...

Bush - too much of a pussy to WORK to succeed in business, so he let his daddy and friends set him up while he watched from the sidelines....AS THEY DROVE INTO THE GROUND...

So NOW, we're at war and Bush once again watches others from the sidelines...Sacrifice? He knows nothing about it? Loss? That's for others to endure…

Which neo-con "heroes" have seen a battlefield?

Not Rush Limbaugh, he never served, and never would. (though, in fairness, being a junkie would keep him out)
Not Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert, he never served, and never would.
Not Faux News talking head Bill O’Reilly, he never served, never would.
Not Former Majority Leader Dick Armey, he never served, and never would.
Not Bill Bennett, he never served, and never would.
Not House Majority Whip Roy Blunt, he never served, and never would.
Not Bill Kristol, never served, never would.
Not Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, he never served, and never would.
Not Majority Whip Mitch McConnell, he never served, and never would.
Not Rick Santorum, third ranking Republican in the Senate, he never served, and never would.
Not Trent Lott, he never served, and never would.
How about Jeb Bush, he never served, and never would.
Or how about Kenneth Starr or Antonin Scalia? Nope, didn’t serve.
How about former Att’y General John Ashcroft or the new one? Nope. Didn’t serve.
Newt Gingrich? He never served, and never would.
Not Tom DeLay, he never served and said he wanted to, but there were too many minorities in the service.
Not GW BUSH, Daddy would see to it that he was safe at home while you served.
Not Dick Cheney, he got more deferments than Clinton ever dreamed about getting.
Not Sean Hannity, he never served and never would.
Not the Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, he never served and never would.
Not the under Secretary of Defense Richard Perle, he never served and never would.
Karl Rove? Please.

How about the children of all the Republicans in the House and Senate? You can always count on them to cover your, oh wait, not a SINGLE ONE of them serve this country in the military.
